I hope someone else can help you with that. My personal experience ends with MacOS 10.14 on intel-based Macs.

Since it might not be Big-Sur-related, you might better open a new topic ponting to the use of your Satechi port box.
In your problem description you should mention that you use Big Sur with that box and you need it.
