Hello all,
For a few sessions, we have tried to connect to each other with a friend-musician with SoundJack, but unsuccessfully.
All we can hear is cracking noise.
He uses a Windows laptop (64bits) with a Behringer U-Phoria UMC2 unit to connect his electric piano to. And after selecting the Input and Outputs as the Behringer, we can only hear cracking noise on both sides.
I use a Mac and have had some very successful sessions with another fellow musician, so it seems the problem is coming from either the Behringer or the Windows PC. Has anyone got any suggestion please? We don’t know what to try next…
Many thanks in advance,
MichaëlHi, the question on Windows is always “is he using an ASIO driver” ? Since it is the Behringer I don’t think so. And if this is the case he must set his audio- and network buffer to 512 – otherwise is leads to what you describe. Soon I will disable others than 512 on Windows when not using the ASIO driver.

Hi Michaël,
Crackling noise when using SoundJack (especially with a Behringer U-Phoria UMC2 on Doodle Baseball Windows) is a known issue and is usually related to audio driver settings or system performance. Since your Mac setup works fine, it’s likely the problem is on your friend’s Windows end.
