Anyone using FMB with Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 3rd Gen USB Audio Interface? Can you please share your experiences, especially with regard to latency? The FMB page on “tested audio interfaces” rates 4 other Scarlett models but not that one. Also, I wonder if there is an issue with powering the 8i8 via USB though the FMB. Thanks

Actually, please ignore the question about power; I see that it come with a 12V DC power supply included.

Hi, I have been using one for a few months and it works fine with soundjack.

As far as I know the 4i4 is the “biggest” Focusrite Scarlett interface that can work with USB power only (my 2i4 works that way).
Any larger interface needs more power than USB can deliver, so a power supply is needed (for the 8i6 as well as the 18i8, the 8i8 in the title does not exist, but thiat might be a typing error).

I’ve been using the Scarlett 8i8 3rd Gen with SoundJack for a while now, and it works flawlessly. Latency is minimal, and the 12V DC power supply ensures consistent performance. By the way, if you’re into puzzles, the sudoku cube solver app is a great way to relax during breaks.

What’s especially fun is how the difficulty ramps up naturally. The early levels serve as a smooth tutorial, letting you get comfortable with the mechanics. But before you know it, slice master introduces faster objects, tricky traps, and unpredictable layouts that truly test your reflexes.

The stickman hook reminds me that you don’t need graphics or story—just grit and rhythm.

Many experienced players embrace the challenge of anticipating obstacles by geometry dash feeling the beat, rather than relying solely on memorization of the layout.

It’s interesting to see the discussion around the Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 3rd Gen USB Audio Interface and its compatibility with FMB. The mention of latency concerns adds depth to the conversation. Have you considered exploring ragdoll hit

Hello everyone, sharing a small find. I came across spin mama after scrolling through user comments on a review page. I clicked thinking it would be the usual clutter, but it was simple and worked well on my phone. I used it during a short afternoon break and it made those few minutes feel more pleasant.

Building an Engaging Online Music Community for Your Group

Creating a successful online music community is no longer just an option for modern artists—it’s a powerful way to grow your identity, connect with listeners, and collaborate with others who share the same passion. Whether you’re forming a group on Soundjack or gathering musicians from different backgrounds, the key is understanding how people interact, what keeps them engaged, and how to build an environment that inspires creativity.

The first step is defining the purpose of your group. Are you focusing on live performance coordination, music production feedback, gear discussions, or general creativity? When members know exactly what the group is about, they’re more likely to participate meaningfully. A clear identity helps attract the right musicians who are genuinely interested in contributing.

Consistency also plays a major role. Posting updates, sharing works-in-progress, hosting small challenges, or even weekly discussion topics can maintain momentum. Musicians thrive on inspiration, and a well-structured community can become a reliable source of it. Consider inviting members to share demos, practice routines, or behind-the-scenes moments. These interactions strengthen the feeling of belonging, which is crucial in any artistic community.

Of course, it’s important to take breaks from intense creative sessions. In fact, many musicians report that stepping away for a few minutes helps them return with clearer focus. Short, casual activities can help reset mental energy between long recording or rehearsing sessions. I personally like using simple skill-based games for this kind of quick mental refresh—something like Slice Master
offers a light moment of fun without pulling you out of your creative flow for too long. These little pauses can actually help maintain productivity.

Finally, encourage collaboration. When musicians feel comfortable experimenting and exchanging ideas, the group becomes more than just a page—it transforms into a supportive artistic ecosystem. Whether members share riffs, vocal tips, or mixing advice, these exchanges help everyone grow and stay motivated.

In the end, building a thriving online music community is about connection, communication, and creativity. With the right structure and atmosphere, your group can become a space where musicians feel inspired, supported, and excited to share their journey.
